Almost entire time on foot - Marsh Loop, Seasonal Road, Audio Stop #8, HQ.
Elk 5 - all were bugling just after dawn.

It was perched on top of a willow at the start of the Seasonal Road. ID'ed by flycatcher shape and posture; black head and blackish back; whitish underparts and blackish tail with wide white terminal band. The dark coloration seemed relatively pale - perhaps a juvenile bird.
