- Pinellas County's first verified record of this species was when a bird was found in poor condition at Fort De Soto Park and taken to Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary (SSS) where it died. The specimen was sent to the USF museum. It's exact location ius not known at this time (RS). Two other specimens have come in to SSS since then - 2003 & 2004. Both are Florida Natural History Museum #'s 43705 & 44167.
