Received call from Roberto Torres that the bird was on Marker #1 in the channel. I was able to get scope set up within a few minutes and bird was still there.
Species

Immature (1st year) dark morph on Marker #1 at east end of Key Biscayne channel; set up scope just west of lighthouse and had sun slightly to my back. Was unable to see feet due to grid platform but saw other field marks; soft brown; smudged brown on upper breast; light belly and medium colored bill; appeared delicate and smaller compared to 2 nearby perched DCCO. Roberto Torres called at 12:20 and said they were looking at it from the boat and he thought I could see it from Cape Florida lighthouse area. I used Fowey Rocks light as reference and easily found the correct marker. I was lucky that the bird was on my side of the platform. Took terrible digiscope photos but Toe and Trey have close photos, including the feet.
