A quick trip to try and find the Northern Parula and Chipping Sparrows. Made only two stops. The group picnic area East of Ming Lake and the picnic area West of Ming Lake. All other species seen from the vehicle.

This was the target bird for the trip. I did not see it from the normal location during my 0800 to 0900 observation. I was there with another birder named Dane Fagundes from Tulare. I asked him to call me if he saw the Parula since he was going to stay until noon. He saw the bird at 1030 at a location just to the East of its previous sightings, and gave me a call.
