Comments: We observed this swallow for an hour as it passed the lighthouse & rocks. This bird was similar to those seen at Kittery Pt., 3 days earlier.
The flight feathers were worn. Throat pale, warm orangish-yellow extended across cheek and up around nape. The frontal plate was darker than throat & broader than P. Pyrrhonta. Chest & belly pale, warm white, under tail coverts warmer yellow. Rump pale, warm orange-yellow, no white streaks on mantle. Tail square & worn-dark.
Again this small compact swallow bombed around, sadly, not catching any insects. Bird was too active to photograph.
