    Number observed: 2
  5. Number observed: 2

Comments: The wren was observed jumping around rocks and bushes. The area was a mountain side covered in grass and small shrubs. Showed a lot of curiosity in me by looking and getting closer and closer. The bird was light brown with a light tan chest and lighter stomach. The wing had a specked brown and black pattern. The beak was sharp and slightly long. When moving the tail was held up in the air, like other wren. The bewick’s wren was similar in color but it is darker on the back. The wing pattern on the Bewick’s wren is similarity speckled but has more brown. The house wren that was observed did not have the white stripe over the eye.

  6. Number observed: 3
  7. Number observed: 1

Comments: Observed on the side of a very Rocky Mountain, in the desert. Light tan body with white chest. The tail was dark and held high. The beak was a paler gray color. The legs were very orange.
