Biologist Liz Golden saw it near Net 9 in SFBO net lane area. Ranger Erica Hernandez recently found a large owl pellet just west of this area and I found a GHOW in the banding area last winter. Park Manager Robert Yero saw GHOW 2 weeks later along beach strand. Although there are no existing hawk nests to encourage breeding, perhaps this owl is an annual visitor in the park.
