Comments: Looking at white crown sparrow when the lark pop up. Size was bigger then savannah and similar to white crowned sparrow. Had a deep base bill, white eyebrow, no yellow in Supra Loral area. White mousachial region and throat. A light patch check. Dark streaks on breast as an 1st winter. My picture did not come out.
Compare to a female Rose Breasted Grosbeak is more heavy and has a thicker neck than the slimmer sparrow I saw. The sparrow pop up from the ground, which is a behavior I never seen with a Rose Breasted Grosbeak. The streaks were dark, were Grosbeak are lighter. It also called a high tsink.
