This was a tan morph. It was seen feeding under a thistle feeder in the headquarters area of the Kern River Preserve with a flock of Dark-eyed Juncos and a couple of White-crowned Sparrows. It was refound later in the day at which time photos were taken. This may be the same bird that was reported yesterday in Scodie Park in Onyx.
