I witnessed a major fallout on the asphalt path at Cedar Bend Picnic Area with the following 17 species foraging on it: Downy Woodpecker (1), Carolina Chickadee (2), Tufted Titmouse (2), White-breasted Nuthatch (1), American Robin (1), House Finch (6), American Goldfinch (2), Chipping Sparrow (2), Dark-eyed Junco (3), White-throated Sparrow (16), Swamp Sparrow (1), Savannah Sparrow (1), Eastern Towhee (2), Brown-headed Cowbird (6), Yellow-rumped Warbler (1), Yellow-throated Warbler (1), Northern Cardinal (3). Scope needed to view most birds.

    Comments: Includes a bird on the asphalt path that appeared to be a hybrid with either junco or Harris's Sparrow parentage. The face, chin and throat were an extremely dark gray reminding me of the Jamaican form of Bananaquit.
