Walking from hawk tower to kiskadee trail and returning to the tower; Brian, Martha, Judy, Jim McDermott.
Amended 20 Apr 2019 - Added image from field notes to RTBE, on 6 April one member was uncomfortable with the id a Mississippi Kite - removed from the list. Note that Martha McDermott saw a flock of Cedar Waxwings fly over (est. 15 birds), heard their calls and observed yellow terminal tail band - not included.

    Comments: Sitting on electrical wire by Mesquite blind (26.17697; -98.38628). Black head crested at back of head, back grayish, throat reddish-purple, underside grayish. Sits upright on the wire like a king bird. Observed about 2 minutes at 100 feet. First spotted and identified by Martha McDermott. Seen by all four in the party.
