    Comments: Adult female showing very barred brown plumage overall, lacking grin of female King Eider; photographed extensively, will post. Found earlier this morning by Karen & Tom Beatty.

    Comments: Small sea duck showing small white cheek patch as well as white patch near bill, white shoulder stripe, dark navy cast overall to the plumage, viewed very distantly. Continuing immature male present since the Little Creek CBC but not seen for almost a month. Found this morning again by Karen & Tom Beatty, it was hanging around near the oyster reef across Long Creek from Dockside Inn while I was viewing. Photographed, will post. Robert Wood was on the bird when I arrived.
