    Comments: Red head and grey back. Resting with mixed Shelduck flock in Kosi river.

    Comments: Foraging over road and mountainous hillside. Could see long tail held together needle like, and occasionally split while in flight. Sighted about 40 min from Ramnagar.

    Comments: Unmistakable plumage pattern and foraging style. On banks of Kosi river outside of Ramnagar. Near lage flock of shelduck.

    Comments: All black bird with yellow bill. Large flat winged. Soared above us while we were on the mountain road near Pangot.

    Comments: Great views of them foraging with black headed Jay's in Pangot.

    Comments: Perched with plain martin. BASW foraging nearby. This bird had its back to us and a distinctive red rump. Blue/black wings

    Comments: Obvious yellow eye ring, large cartoon-like eyes, two dark lines bisecting crown with a dark gray stripe in the middle. Yellow belly.

    Comments: Unmistakeable dark brown head,wings and tail with heavily striped body. Birds were foraging in a rhododendron on the mountain hillside near a mixed flock of parakeets.

    Comments: Amazing unimpeded views of a male foraging by the roadside at Pangot. Black body with obvious thick white ring around neck and a yellow eye ring.

    Comments: Mixed flock of warblers. Due to lighting (sun behind clouds and entire sky a bright white with foliage the birds silhouetted against it) and the fast speed at which these birds move throughout the leaves, it was difficult to get positive IDs. I would estimate we saw 3 to 5 distinct species. All very similar colour patterns, with yellow/green backs and pale-to-yellow breasts.
