I believe both of these photos show the same individual, but there were two Ospreys flying in fairly close proximity that traveled over the creek from west to east a few hundred feet up. A few minutes later one flew by at higher altitude (800 feet plus?) from north to south; I assume it was one of the same two birds seen earlier.

Continuing adult male. Flew from the large eucalyptus tree opposite the Cape Honeysuckle hedge into the bottlebrush at the east end of the footbridge. Small oriole; black on the upper back, hood, wings, and tail; pale feather edges on the flight feathers, dark reddish orange on the lower back, rump, and below.

Continuing bird seen well in the north end of the Cape Honeysuckle, near the footbridge over the creek. Small, short-tailed warbler, olive-green upper parts, bluish gray hood, prominent white eye ring, bright yellow throat and breast.
