Didn’t even go to the beach. Spent the most time by the hedges watching the hummers and trying to study them in between quick movements. Also spent a lot of time on the road to the beach.

Comments: The past three winters hummingbirds have stayed in the thick hedges that line the back entrance road into Camp P (S Birdneck). The dense hedges produce a small trumpet shaped, white, sweet smelling flower that provide food. Three were observed today.
