Birded this park to kill some time after seeing the initial GC Warbler at Frontera. Walking along the trail, I heard the distinctive tick, tick call of a GC warbler and was shocked to find a new bird at this park. From the 4-way intersection of the Heron, Parrot, titmouse trail, and Louisiana trail, take the Louisiana trail just past a side trail with bench to a point where the trail comes close to the border fence which is visible through the opening. The warbler was active a few feet off the ground in this location. Gray back, yellow underparts and stripe head as photos show. Much more accommodating and easier to see than the bird at Frontera Audubon. Used tick, tick, call note and also a different alarm type call that sounded a bit like a Magnolia Warbler.
