Comments: Cowbird-sized passerines. Brown and white bodies with big white wing patches. Observed 0.3 mile south of BBNWR beach trail on the beach. Near some significant pieces of driftwood and a “Dune Trail” sign. Observed through scope in flock flying north along surf edge about 5' above sand, then veering inland and landing above the tide line in debris laden sand. From AMPI and HOLA by behavior and white wing patches. Count performed while in flight, impossible to see more than 1 or 2 at a time once they landed.
