Continuing. On the east side of the bike path in a tall euc opposite the footbridge south of El Carro Lane. Roofing work is being done on the house with the Cape Honeysuckle hedge; hopefully that roofing work won’t continue until the Christmas count on 12/15, and the oriole will.

In the orange tree next to the sidewalk at 1477 Santa Ynez Ave. Relatively large-bodied, short-tailed warbler. Drab. Got a good view of extensive yellow on the underside of the tail, and a brief, less-good view of a plain face. Was making a loud chip that was a good match for Yellow Warbler. Poor photo that manages to show the proportions, at least, some of the wing and flank color, and some yellow on what I think is the upper surface of the tail.
