Pair of females or maybe first year birds; same as this morning, most likely.

Continuing. Unfortunately no pic of the Red-necked together with the Horned Grebes, but size difference was notable. Long necked, and with yellow bill. With a small flock that variably included four Ruddy Ducks, three Horned Grebes, and one Pied-billed Grebe that joined the flock just before I left. Pics aren't great; taken with phone through a scope.
