Comments: Watched a lone sea duck heading toward the pier in thr midst of large scoter flocks, quick flaps and more erratic flight than scoter, focused in and waited for it to get to the end of the puer for full on view dince could get n9 fieldmarks exvept dark small chunky duck. As it passed not too far out clearly saw distinctive white bars down neck area in front of wings, white in front of short bill, all dark bluish hued bird with long tail.
