prob I did see one, but gray light in light rain and far away (at edge of foam, as Russ M told me), and would be life bird, and I just don’t feel confident enough , a Beginner at Seawatching, to call it for sure when such a tiny thing : but I did see white-ish underwing coverts, dark back, so only other bird it could be is if I mistook size and was Common Murre, and I do think it was a Murrelet instead and therefore Ancient, but ... ; glad I stayed and got to see Russ’s Magnolia Warbler today, but otherwise, I wish I had invited myself along to follow him and bird with him here! he arrived here ~ an hour before me and texted that he had both Ancient Murrelet and Brant here , ... as a Beginner Seawatcher, would have been so much better to bird with a good companion!
