Gull smaller than nearby Ring-billed Gulls with darker gray mantle. Bill black, partial black hood, broad white eye crescents. Tail with black terminal band. Outer primaries all black with no white. White on entire wing confined to narrow white trailing edge. Some black on primary coverts. Photos.
