Migrating birds far out beyond identifiable range.

This was my best viewing experience of a chimney swift to date. The bird flew in circles not more than 40 feet above our heads for about 30 seconds. Classic "cigar with wings" shape, all dark body, extremely rapid wing beats.

Continuing along the beach just north of the IBA fencing. Was associating with the sanderlings until a drone flew over which flushed all the birds north.

Northeast corner of the sanctuary in a fruiting tree with robins and house sparrows. Seen very well from 30 feet away. All grey, medium sized bird with a long grey-ish black tail and short wings. The bird showed a dark eye and black, medium length bill, similar to that of a thrush. The lighting wasn't ideal so I did not get great looks at the undertail coverts or black cap.
