Found chasing gulls near and along the NW shore of Grassy Island. All brown bird. Had single distinct pale area in primary area (don't know if this white area has a name) on the underside of wings near ends. Easily changed directions as it chased Bonaparte's Gulls and one Ring-billed Gull. Thin body and thin wings with pointy tips. Bird did not have any hint of two pale areas underwing and didn't have any hint of being big, fat, or bulky like Pomarine. Smaller than Herring Gull. Possibly the same bird seen in the morning from Dry Tree Point. Wind direction from east blowing west at 13 mph. Good visibility 0.5 - 0.8 miles from viewing spot. Swarovski 95mm ATX scope. Watched around 20 seconds until I tried for a photo with my camera and lost the bird during the switchover.
