Checked the goose field, which lived up to it's name, just ahead of the promised rain. Would have spent more time here, but the rain started in hard.

On the ground, 5 white 3 blue. Adjacent Canada for comparison, prominent bill with grin patch. Very likely the group I had earlier, but they were in a dip in the field and I don't think i got a full count.

at least. As with the Snow Geese, in a dip in the field. Only saw head poking up. Typical white foreface and pinkish bill, neck with brown tinge. There may have been others out of sight.

More gulls had piled in, looked like the new ones were this species. Very few young birds in the group.
