One blurry and one flying picture. As I walked along the path leading to the tree oasis in the middle of the dunes, a bittern flushed from the reeds along the path. It stopped briefly near the sand bar near the beach and was flushed again by walkers. It flew out over the lake and did not return (at least for the 10 minutes I stayed in the area).
