Brief outing for a long shot attempt at a previously reported Yellow-breasted Chat. Instead enjoyed an unexpected chat with a friend who also sought to bolster his Suffolk list. Surprisingly pleasant birding and a brisk autumn breeze were appropriate for the season

    Comments: Somewhat late, but a regular lingering presence in our region. Walking warbler with dark brown upperparts, yellowish underparts with dense streaking, thin supercilium. Foraging at the edge of a lawn near the phragmites
