SW corner of the lake to 3 Sisters was very birdy. The day turned into a gem by mid-morning: sunny, low 70s. On the hammerhead, a male kestrel was attacked repeatedly by a sharp-shinned hawk. The highlight of the day, plus long looks at a bright Cape May warbler nearby.
