    Comments: Photos. Adult. Small gull with grey back, black outer primaries, black head and yellow bill. Distinctive black-white-gray M pattern on back. Flew into the east end of big Piute.

    Comments: Continuing on Big Piute by the spillway. Photos. Delicate smaller tern compared to nearby Forster's. Small red bill (smaller than I would expect for Common Tern), full black cap, dark outer edge to outermost tail feathers, gray body with contrasting white cheek, contrasting white rump and tail. Underside of primaries translucent, with long black trailing edge, fitting Arctic better than Common. Upperside of primaries uniform, without the dark molt-limit wedge usually seen on Common Tern.

    Comments: Continuing at the easternmost tree along the north end of Duckbill. Photos. Warbler with yellow head and breast with dusky eyeline and dark blurry streaks on the side of breast. Belly and undertail coverts white. Long undertail coverts and short tail. Two white wingbars. Pale feet. Photos.
