Seen and heard at ‘The Willows’; first alerted by popping call note, distinct from NOWA’s more metallic chink note; then seen, larger size, unstreaked white throat, white supercilliary, buffy lores, white underparts, streaked, with Buffy flanks all served to easily separate from Northern.

This was a single flock, COUNTED in a grouping of small trees and shrubs, opposite the main road into Anahuac late in the day. I have photos of several large groups.
