I observed the White-rumped Sandpiper and Semipalmated Plover in the protected area of the sanctuary until the birds were flushed by a Peregrine Falcon.

It was fun to watch the Double-crested Cormorants on the very top of the light tower, completely unfazed by the two Peregrine Falcons that were sitting below.
