With Mom and Joe. We were birding/fishing the lake with hopes of a Jaeger. We checked off the north end of the dam, Lieber's Point, "Gull Beach," and off the north end of the dam again. Weather: Partly cloudy and cool with light winds, no rain, and decent cloud cover during our entire visit. ~65-70 F

Yellow-billed/Black-billed Cuckoo

Flew across the road ahead of us while driving to Lieber's Point. It seemed to lack the rufous in the flight feathers of a Yellow-billed, but it was a little too distant and too brief to be sure.

5
Caspian Tern

Three adults and two juveniles seen perching and flying around the swimming beach on Lieber's Point. They all were decently active while we watched the beach, so there could have been one or two more present. At least one of the juveniles was still begging one of the adults and giving high-pitched calls. The adults also called numerous times during our observation of them.
