Pics to be added. Close flyby down the beach. Medium sized shorebirds larger than Sanderling but smaller than Willet, white wing stripe, medium length slightly downcurved black bills, pale gray above and white below. One was a juv the other 2 not aged.

Pics to be added. Initially seen chasing RBGU down the beach, allowing for good size comparison. It appeared similar in size if not slightly smaller than the RBGU, size impression probably influenced by the bird’s dark color. An intermediate morph non-adult jaeger with bold white wing flash both above and below the wing, some warm cinnamon brown around the neck and back, tail not longer than width of wing base, very slight extension of central tail feathers which looked pointed,
