I was only able to bird the front ponds.

  1. Number observed: 1

Comments: Seen today. The last eBird report was on August 3rd. If you want to see this bird, drive to the front gate where there is a call box. Follow directions on the box to call the front office. When the front office answers the phone, ask if you can go birdwatching. If they give you permission to do so, they will open the gate. Then drive directly to the front office to sign in. It is very important you do this. After you sign in, pick up a copy of the birding rules and regulations for this site (found on desk next to sign in sheet). The rules and regulations sheet will tell you where to park and what areas are off limits to birders. Also, after you are done birding, you must sign out. The most important things are to sign in and out, do not bird in restricted areas (see rules and regulations sheet with map), and be nice to the employees.
