Close in size to nearby Semipalmated Plovers. White eyebrow extends past eye. Grayish back/scapulars with no outline. Wings extend just beyond tail. Did not see bird in flight.

Coming from the Mouilee Creek entrance the first Unit is the Walpatch Unit. The dirt road turn left then, after a short distance, turns right heading east. At the end of this road there is a T intersection. The bird was in the only small dead tree here. It was singing/calling but not the entire song - just the first note.
