Juvenile feeding in the fluddles on the public beach. Smallish sandpiper, larger than Semipalmated Sandpipers in direct comparison, dark centered upperpart feathers with rufous and buff fringes, plain, buffy head, whitish underparts with streaking on the neck and upper breast, thick, dark spotting on the upperbelly sides, long, dark, slightly decurved bill, dark legs.
