Comments:
Went to check on Becard nests north of bridge. "Trail" is very overgrown with foliage, downed trees, and debris; and washes are quite muddy. So, backtracked and went around - bushwhacking using GPS waypoints from earlier this summer. After 20-30 minutes at each nest, did not see any birds near them. I heard chittering high in canopy by orange plastic cover that might have been the Becards and saw one briefly at the top of a cottonwood that looked like the female or juvenile but not confident enough to add to list. Three Bunting morning.

Saw two different groups. One flock foraging in grass below the bridge on south side. Second flock was in a tall grassy patch between Becard nests and Santa Cruz "river".
