Eurasian Wigeon

Female. Present for a few weeks and been on all the ponds in the area. We saw her on the Golf Course pond. This bird was very similar to a female AMWI on the water. The head was a bit ruddier, yet still gray. There seemed to be a dark eye smudge behind the eye (not extreme like a male AMWI - yet similar). The bird was viewed taking off from the south pond and the axilars and wing lining was gray, not white.
