Little Blue Heron

Seen on the far side of the marsh. All-white immature with minute evidence of molt into mature plumage: a small patch of blue-gray in the primary tips as evident in the image of the bird foraging. Greenish-yellow legs and feet, dull lores and two-tone bill with dull black at the tip. Rounded head and stockier build than SNEG.
