Breeding plumage. In the channel near the south end of the slough; scoped from above not far from the parking lot. Only had a brief look.

In the channel near the south end of the slough; scoped from above not far from the parking lot. Beak length and non-recurved-ness, and the bird’s overall size in comparison with the nearby Marbled Godwit, seemed good for Lesser, but I’ve been burned before on that point; I want to solicit knowledgeable opinion. Update: Consensus was that yeah, it's a Lesser.
