This bird was close and with some Semipalmated Sandpipers. We could see that it was slightly bigger and the bill was longer and drooped slightly at the tip.

We spotted this bird from the trail through the marsh. It was facing us. We saw its white belly with a narrow white line going up the neck. The rest of the bird was darker. We saw several Little Blue Herons to compare it to.
