Comments:
Stoked upon arrival to find 82 degrees with a cool NE breeze. That lasted until I went through the gate into a living hell. Most trails were draped with spiders, and mosquitoes were pretty bad, but it was the dreaded deerflies providing the greatest torment. I lasted 30 minutes inside (which I'm pretty proud of ) before retreating to bird the property edge from the highway for the next hour relatively deerfly free. Being forced to the roadside provided the day's only excitement.
