While crossing the bridge, I heard what I thought was a GRKI calling, coming from along the river bank. Looking down in the direction of the sound I saw a green bird fly up into a tree, completely out of sight. While looking for the first bird, a second bird flew in and landed on the river bank - this is the bird I photographed. Although the second bird was present for less than a minute, I was able to get great looks and some decent photos. This was a nice find and a pseudo-consolation prize for not being able to locate the Becards on my second visit here.
