70s, sunny, and medium to high tide with the new moon on 7/13. Walked from the Least Tern colony on the eastern edge of Silver Point to the first Common Tern colony. Seemed like a fairly good fishing day for the Terns. We found a pool in the back of the Common Tern colony which may have formed from the thunderstorm 2 days ago

Separate male and juvenile under the Least Tern colony + a group of 3 juveniles by the dried up pond from the ocean under the Common Tern colony

Seemed to be about 60-70 young, which were either in the last stage before being able to fly or who were already able to fly. All young were still being fed by their parents, though a few young flew with their parents to the ocean when they went fishing

All young that were seen were able to fly but were still being fed by their parents though a few did go with their parents out to the ocean, and a few young were in the Least Tern colony. Adults and young were bathing in the pond in the colony and loafing on the dried up pond from the ocean

Appeared to be less than the last few times, and none were seen with the Common Terns in the pond in the back or by the dried up pond from the ocean
