Continuing birds. Seen from platform 1/4 mile east of CAS parking center. Male singing: a couple notes then a dry trill. He favored a tall strand of grass straight out from the platform about 60% of the way across the field. White throat, some buff along the flangs, vent reddish-orange, wings strongly patterned black and white, strong buff eyebrow. After singing high up on the grass strand, the male dropped down, working his way towards the road, coming up for a few seconds along the road, then flying across the street. 20 minutes later he sang again from the same grass strand. And once again at the end of the hour. Meanwhile, female made brief appearances to the left of the platform, carrying fecal sacks. While the male was singing at the end of the hour, another sedge wren (possibly a different male) flew over the platform and across the street. So there may be three birds.
