Established breeding colony. Estimates made several times when birds in the colony all ascended. Most likely conservative estimate.

Arctic Tern

Rare but regular in late May-early July at favored locations near large tern colonies. Slightly smaller than adjacent Common Terns. Second summer individual with extensive black cap which enclosed the eye and dark spotting on the forehead. All black bill, slightly long for an Arctic Tern, rounded head and noticeably short black legs. Photos to follow.
