Laughing Gull

Gull slightly smaller than adjacent RBGU with darker gray mantle. Bill longer with drooping tip, and larger than FRGU. Underwing shows extensive dark primary pattern without white mirrors. FRGU would have less dark on wingtip. Hind neck is grayish, not white like FRGU. Appears to be second cycle plumage. References: Sibley Guide to Birds, Gulls of the Americas - Howell & Dunn.
