Smaller than nearby double-crested cormorants. Seen by others before and after and photographed by them. Northwest arm.

One still lingering; in area of woods on dead snag. Similar in size and form as eastern kingbird. Flanks grayish and not white as in eaki. When it flew over, no white edged tail was seen. Landed in deep forest.
