Potential California Gull might be runt Herring. EDITTED (IDENTIFIED ON GULLS OF NA Facebook GROUP AS 1st SUMMER RBGU) Was able to study the spirit at close range and compare observations two Gulls of the America; that said I have not tried to identify a bird of the age before and this may be a Herring Gull once I look at photos on the computer. 2nd cycle Gull with gray back, long brown primary extensions, thin small body, strongly separated two-toned bill with bluish base and black tip, dark eyes, and bluish green legs.
