They flew by.

Wood Duck

There were five pairs swimming in the pond. Some of the pairs grouped up and dabbled in the lily pads, but some of the other pairs just swam alone together. There was one pair that was perched in a snag. I loved watching them forage in the pond. Thank you Jesus!

There was a pair dabbling in the lily pads near the Wood Ducks. They later preened with a pair of Mallards. It was my first time seeing one. Thank you Jesus!
